I use BES through my work and they do not install DM on our PCs (PC Locked and cannot install any apps). I would like to backup my settings, autotext, etc. How can I do this without DM?

If you have a PC at home you could install DM and backup your info there. It will be stored as and .ipd (Blackberry Backup) file. There is no other way that I know of. Other CB members may have some more insight.

I would love a self-backup program like Backupbuddy for Palm. You could run backups to memory card and reboot your device on the go if necessary.

Then again, BBs tend not to have the type of instability that made such a utility priceless.
