    I have a user with an 8830WE Berry. We are using a BES for all devices.
    I have the same device and my auto signature works just fine. His berry, same device, software version, policy, etc...
    Set Auto Signature to Yes and enters text in the signature line. Never works.
    Any suggestions? This is an Officer of the company and IT would look good if we solved this for him. Again, all of our signatures work just fine.

    LOL, so basically you're wanting us to make you look good?...... Ahh, never stops, does it?

    Wipe the device and reestablish the BES trust. Implement the signature test and see if it works. If it does, then restore his info and see if the signature works. If it does, then you're set. If not, then it's something in his backed up settings that messed it up. You'll have to rewipe and reestablish BES trust, but not restore his backed up info.
