OK... i am wanting to use my blackberry to replace my ipod so i don't have so much to carry. my truck has an aux port. i bought the scosche 3.5mm cable from walmart and am using the 2.5mm adapter that came with it. when i hook it up i have to turn my radio up all the way and can still barely hear it. Ive cleaned and done everyhthing i know to do. any suggestions as to my problem.

well neither of my trucks have the aux port, what I use is a FM Mod adapt. this allows me to link my BB 8830 via a cable and play my audio books/music that I sync to my 8Gb micro SD card via iTunes (BB Media Sync). You can buy the VRfm9 at Target or eBay.

ok. the other thing though is that i can hook up a set of earphones via the sosche adapter and it works fine. it just wont go through to the aux port.

well I know some aux jacks won't link to BB (inputs don't "sync").

ok... i guess thats what is wrong then... ive got an old modulator i used to use. ill break that out and try it
