Thanks,
Frankie

Counting the days til my contract with Alltel (Verizion) ends.
Me too!! I want out now! The service blows ***, my phone is always dropping calls and has low bars. I havent had 5 bars since the merger.
You guys should check out Sprint. They are also CDMA. Right now I pay $110 a month for 900 minutes + Data and it's just not worth it to me.
For $69 you can get 450 minutes + unlimited text/mms + unlimited calls to any mobile phone, any carrier + free GPS + free NFL + free Nascar + nights start at 7PM.
How can you beat it? Can't wait to cancel Verizon.
^^^ I agree, but I would go only if Sprint would get BB's @ the same time as Verizon.
I had sprint a few years back & I didn't care for it. Where I was living had poor signal so I couldn't get calls at my house. That's why I switched over to Alltel. I might have better luck now since I'm not living in a remote location but I have heard Sprints customer service sucks. I want to go with AT&T cuz a few of my friends have it & they have 3G everywhere! The only problem with that is I travel into the mountains in Virginia & Tennessee & I may not have good service up there. Maybe I'll check into Sprint & see what's up over there.

Well they definitely have improved.
I just got my sprint phone. It's the Sanyo SCP-2700 and BOY does thing give my 8830WE a run for its money! It even supports OWA!
The reception is just as good as my Verizon phone and Sprint Customer Service seems to be great. I couldn't get on the web on my phone and Sprint CS fixed it instantly. So far I'm extremely satisfied with my phone and my service. I'm ready to cancel Verizon.
I'm going to do a few more tests but as of right now Verizon should be out of business in a few years.
