Does anyone know when RIM or Verizon will discontinue the 8830? Currently it is the only supported device on my corporate plan. I'm almost due a new every two upgrade and my corporate office said that the only device we can get is the 8830 until the corporate standard changes. I think the only way the corporate standard will change is if it is discontinued.
I'm sure for a while since they still have the 8703e model available online. You should try and convince your office that the Tour (9630) is just an 8830 upgraded...just with a fancy catch-name. But you should be good for a little while.
