I just purchased an 8gb card, upgraded my os to 4.5. My provider is Verizon (not sure if that matters).

I can not see the card by way of the phone. When I connect my phone to the USB port I can see the card and my music files. When I go to the default media player it says no songs.

I am completely baffled as what to do now. Any thoughts?

It was a typo, I am actually running the Curve 8330. Can this be moved back?

Try formatting the card, its gonna erase all your files though.

The phone won't let me format it. If I format it while the phone is in my computer the format works, but still the same problem with not seeing the files on the card from the phone.

    RESOLVED!!!!!

I downloaded a program from Panasonic that formats the cards. I originally tried a full/erase format. It gave me an error at the end that it was an incompatible card.

I then tried a quick format with that software and poof, I can see and play the files from my phone.

I don't know why the Windows Format and also the Phone Format features didnt work.
