I am having trouble getting my computer recognize my 8830 using bluetooth. Both my computer and my 8830 have discovery mode on, and my 8830 has paired with the computer and vice versa. The computer recognizes the device but claims that it is disconnected. However I cannot get the phone to sync up without plugging it in via USB. Am I missing an additional step or has anyone else encountered this problem before?

Is anyone else having trouble with the Desktop Manager recognizing your 8830 as connected via Bluetooth?

I can get the phone to pair with the computer and vice versa however I cannot get the desktop manager to recognize the device. Both the computer and the phone have Discoverable On. Also, some of my colleagues I work with are having the same issue, can anyone help?

the 8830 is not compatiable with vista! Windows is working on a fix. Look for it in early 2008
