Hi all,

The tether worked perfectly with my 8820 for about a week, with fairly good speed on AT&T. Now it hangs on checking username and password with no connection, just a try again in a few minutes. I've checked all the settings twice and don't see any changes from my original setup.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried a battery pull? With your phone on, remove the battery for 30 seconds, then put it back in.

Thanks for the response. Will doing a battery pull while the bb is on reset anything I don't want reset?

No. It is the first thing to try when troubleshooting a problem.
