Hey every one. this is my first thread here. ive been reading ALOT of helpful things on this site! Just purchased an 8820 from PPCMD here on this site. waiting for it to arrive at my home!

alos i got an 8GB micro SD card. so i can put MP3 and movies on there so that should be fun.

just wondering what other Apps. are out there that you like on your BB?
and what is a simple App that i can put movies on my BB?

Update: just Bought a otterbox!!

also as of now. no data plan. just going to use wi-fi

Sadly though, you arent gonna be able to use your 8gb card quite yet until 4.5 OS comes out. You will have to format to 4 gb and then reformat once the new OS arrives with support. Otherwise, its a great phone (went from a curve to 8820) so I am biased to begin with.

Some of the best apps require a data plan. Visit CB 101 and they give you a few options there to convert movies to the correct format to play on your BB.
