    I have a user with a Cingular 8800 and she often cannot get updated meetings or contacts. If she updates the contacts on her laptop they do not show on the BB. She is using OUtlook 2002. The email is fine. How can she sync the contacts and calendar?

    Is she setup on BIS or BES?

    BES should sync everything unless it's disabled..

    If you have redirection disabled, then if she plugs in and tries to sync, nothing will get sent to the device..

    BIS only syncs emails.. and even then, it's not reconciled to your Outlook.

    If bidirectional is enabled, check the application event viewer logs..

    Also, make sure the 3 permissions are set for the bb account (sendas/receiveas/administer information store)..

    If nothing in the event logs, go to your log folder C:\program files\research in motion\blackberry enterprise server\logs and look for the MAGT logs.. those are your mail agent logs. Do a search for her name and see if you are seeing the "You do not have permission to log on"

    If you see that, then the bb account cant log into her store.
