Very disappointed with the keyboard, lookout Palm here comes RIM! While Palm has done everything possible to make up for its mis-step on the cramped Treo keypads RIM has failed to notice. Long live the 77xx/72xx keypad...

Not having used a 72xx/75xx series before I don't think the keyboard is bad at all. Now the only thing I have to compare it to is an 8700. I don't find it hard to use at all.

I am okay with the 8703e's keyboard, but I have small fingers, so it works for me.

My guy has bigger fingers so it makes it harder for him.

Yes I did have trouble at first with yours but at least it was a straight type. I have a7100i with sure type (I think that is what they call it) Keys are bigger but dang words come out wrong alot!

typing this: "I'm sure you can see the guy overthere"

comes out like this: "Um sure you can are the hit overthere"

I think it is time for a cool change to a full keyboard! What do you think me lady?

I hear ya, Finch. I will still grab the 8800 when Rogers releases it but I'm already prepping myself for the cramped keypad.

I think the keyboard on the 8700 is great but then again I can see why some people who may have larger fingers may complain.
