I just wanted to find out if anyone else having issues with their T- Mobile Blackberry 8800 "searching for network" ? I just noticed it because alot of my phone calls just goes directly to my voice mail. I tried removing my battery to reset the phone and also updated my softwares but I am not having any luck.

The only time that i have experienced this is when I am in a dead spot, ie my parking garage at work. No other times.

I had a similar problem and the message icon was not showing up saying I had a message
The problem went away as mysteriously as it appeared
I just assmumed it was a service provider problem

Rather than having it set to automatic for searching for service. Why not force it to look at only T-Mobile?

Also, did you get a new phone, but kept your old SIM card? If yes, I suggest you call T-Mobile, and give them the SIM number of the SIM card in the box, and use that...

Did you update your OS? Some OS's seem to not work as well for service
