    My batteries at 25% and the red light stays on whenever the screen is on. Is this due to battery life or another issue??

    That doesn't sound right... Low battery light is ALWAYS flashing (even with screen off) in yellow. Try a battery pull (remove battery while device is ON, wait 5 seconds and reinsert battery, don't press anything, just wait until it's loaded)

    battery pull took care of it and for some reason it re-confirmed my gmail account. either way, everythings fine now. thanks
