    Uploaded the new desktop software and went to the blackberry site.


    After that I disconnected and re-connected the blackberry and it downloaded all of the new 4.5 apps and features. Amazing as I have been trying my best to get 4.5 the other way through these threads with no success.

    Going to the SmithMicro support site for verizon still shows 4.2. Maybe later today on that site.

    Are you talking about an upgrade for an 8330 or an 8830? You list 8330 as your device. This is an 8830 forum.
