It's the first Blackberry I've had, so of course I love it. It's great to be able to check my email where ever I am and to be able to connect to the internet.
Functional, and style. Yes, style - its one of the better looking phones on the market.
There could be more bells and whistles based on todays technology offerings, but the basics are there in the 8830 and it just works. By the way, I'm looking forward to enhancements via OS upgrades so, I can extend the 8830 life. I've had it for two years now.

Took a trip to Europe over the summer with my friends, went to AllTel and got the sim, didn't think much of it. They are all iPhone fanboys. Guess which phone was the only one to work? Oh yes.. The 8830.
They even carried their phones around as if they would get a signal.. Was cute.
