I have a new replacement 8830 coming because the keypad is not functioning properly.....

My question.......

Can I backup my current 8830 and restore that backup to the new one keeping all my software and settings the same????

Will the pin change?

When you receive the new device, use desktop manager's switch device wizard. All your apps/settings/PIM data will move to the new device. The PIN is device specific. think of it like your device's SSN. It will change any time you get a new device.
