I have an 8830 and cant get the volume loud enough from downloaded ringtones.Al the volumes are turned all the way up.

There is a STICKY thread near the top of this subforum on CLASSIC ringtone. That one works pretty well for a loud ringtone. I can hear my phone in other rooms of my home - the standard ringtones, even at LOUD was almost silent!!

The 8830 does have a deficient ringtone with many of the innate tones in the phone.

There is also some kind of fix if you have the newer BETA OS but I have not explored that as the Classic serves my purpose and I do not yet have the newer OS

Also the VIBRATOR is pretty enemic.

Or you can load up OS4.5 and use my "volume fix", also in a sticky at the top of the forum.
