I upgraded my os yesterday via verizon. V4.2.2.196. It's supposed to support 8 gig sticks now. I put in a 8 gig stick, fomatted it, and loaded about 7 gigs of music. None of my music players pick up all the songs (media player, miu tunes, or flip side) tried several restarts and battery pulls. Anyone else having problems?

If it formats as 8GB and you can put stuff on it, then the OS has proper support for it. Media Player "indexing" is another story. Also, make sure you don't have any DRM on any of the files and that they are all MP3s.

Where did you place the music, I presume, mp3 files?

They should be located in a subfolder:

    \BlackBerry\music

Then, are your mp3 tags all correct for artist, title, album, etc depending on how you want to find them.

Finally, the indexing as mentioned above can take time for an 8 gig card. Put the card in, reset by pulling the battery. Open MediaPlayer for music and then walk away for a few minutes.....

    Good luck
