I've contacted VZ about costs of roaming from my USA VZ account while in Canada for a week. It seems to me that if I went the "Chip" route voice would cost me just about the same as simply roaming. But data is another story. It is very expensive to simply roam and have the data package.
Is there anyway to use only the phone part of the 8830 while in Canada? If not how can I keep my four e-mail accounts from feeding the BB while I'm out of the USA for a week? I went up on my VZ account and don't see a simple way to temporarily turn off my e-mail.
