Anyone know of a way to get media onto the media card without using Mass Storage Mode (damn corporate IT policy!). I could always dump data onto the card using an external card reader, but that's not elegant.

Downloadable apps are OK, but I'm a cheap *******, so free is the optimal cost.

Put the Media Card in an adapter and put it the SD slot in your PC. Not elegant, but serviceable.
