    Inside of the messages folder go to Option -> General Options -> SMS and Email Inboxes choose "seperate"

    Thank you. It worked but how do you check them when they come in. I want to put an icon on the home screen so I can check them.

    You have to open up the messages folder. Then press menu > Options > General Options > SMS and Email Inboxes.

    You should have a separate folder now for SMS. It will notify you the same as Messages.
