    This is just for the record as I have experienced this problem today and the client care rep has told me its fairly common. So I figured I would throw it out there in case anyone else is being driven nuts by the same problem I had.

    Device and Service Particulars: 8830WE on Telus Network set up on a BIS account with a gmail address.

    Problem: Every time I send a message with the BB almost immediately afterwards I would receive a duplicate message of what I have sent in my inbox. I thought it might be the BB showing sent mail but once I turned the sent mail view off it would still be happening.

    Remedy: Client Care told me to create a filter on BIS to block out receiving messages from myself. Once created, the problem ceased.

    Client Care told me that it was a common problem seen with gmail, and only seems to happen with that email provider.
