my usb interface on the 8830 isn't working so in order to synch, etc i purchased a bluetooth dongle from BlueSoleil.com. that software can discover the 8830 but the BB DM cannot. nor can the windows bluetooth device manager.

anyone used the BlueSoleil dongle and/or have any suggestions?

nevermind, i uninstalled BlueSoleil drivers and i got DM to connect. however, obviously i didn't think about it hard enough, OS updates, etc won't happen with bluetooth. arg!

got to break down and buy a new phone. wanted to wait for the "tour" in july ... guess that isn't going to happen

Yeah I do the bluetooth connection sometimes but it can only back up the device, nothing too major like updates
