I have an 8830 WE phone with a 4 GB media card. I have always been able to load songs onto the card without any problems. Recently, i am having a problem.

Every song that I load cannot be viewed on the media player. I have been able to verify that the songs are on the card. I can see the new songs when I open the Roxio software and when I open my blackberry in explorer. However, when I go into the media player I do not see the songs that I just downloaded.

Can anyone help?

Are the mp3 tags correct? Are you giving the media player sufficient time to index and display the new items? You are moving them into the proper folder on the BB?

Ah that's simple. You are downloading to ringtones. Look in the ringtones folder, you will see your stuff there.

If you are following all the steps then try a battery pull or soft reset.
