I just got a solid red LED on my 8830we. I can't get it to power on, the LED stays solid red for about 2 minutes then goes blank....the screen never powers up. I have had it on the charger and still it won't power up. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you tried a battery pull? If that doesn't solve it you should probably talk to your carrier.

I know this is a old message out there but did you find out what caused the LED to stay on? Mine works but the red LED always stays on which slowly drains the battery during the day .. thanks Jim
