    I have an 8830 and i downloaded the update 4.5.0 for it but when i connect the phone to my computer and it searches for updates, it finds them and then i click next and then it says core application wont load or something like that due to missing files, wtf? I downloaded it from the verizon website, hmmm and help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Also will the update allow me to watch youtube?

    You couldn't have downloaded the 4.5 OS from Verizon's webiste because it's not out for the 8830.
