I have been using the 8830 for about 3 weeks or so and now when I go into the messages icon to read/reply to a message it is really slow and sluggish. It takes a few seconds to open it. then takes a few more to send a reply and then takes a few more seconds to send it before I can do something else. How can I resolve this problem? Thanks

you got a allot of apps running in the background? check maybe the cause.

hit the alt + esc button to go to task manage and close programs

where is the esc button located at? I dont think i have load of programs running but i might.

I think i found that escape button but the internet and black berry messagner wont go away

I had same lags with sms (which I use mocho). I deleted a bunch and the lag improved. You might see if you can delete some messages. Also check you email 'keep messages' option setting.

is there a way to do a massive delete of everything or does it have to all be done manually? I figured the messages I had accumulated caused some lag but didnt know how to remove them all

In the message list, if you have the day seperator bar selected, pull up the menu and you'll see an option "delete prior" That'll wipe all the messages prior to your spot.

The escape button us the loopie looking arrow next to the end call button. Sry 2x post. Where does the hemi go into? Why can't I just put a NOS sticker on it or something? Doesn't that have the same effect?
