Just as the title states fellas.. I would like to access my backup file to retrieve my phone numbers until I receive my replacement...

When you create a back up, Desktop Manager will ask you where to save the created back up. You should already know this location is.

assuming you have backed up your blackberry using Desktop Manager you can try to search your computers files/folders for one labeled "backup."

Search all files and folder for *.ipd files, but you won't be able to open it up anyway to read the data... unless you use a 3rd party program.
