I see there is a way to get a numerical display of the signal strength. Does anyone know if there is a way to get a numerical display of the battery life remaining, other than through the status?

alt dbon used to work on some of the earlier OS, but don't believe there is a key combintation for that on this OS.

the battery meter works for me

Some themes you can download will show a numerical display.
sorry - don't know any specific ones.

There is a way to do it on our OS. its a key combination, i believe I've seen it on this site before. try and do a search for it
