    Hey everyone,

I just got my 8830 a couple of weeks ago and I was messing with the Bluetooth settings yesterday when it basically froze the Options menu on me.
I went into the setup option, under applications, and clicked on Bluetooth, then clicked Devices (or something of that nature). A "Searching for devices..." dialogue popped up, the status bar ran to the end, then froze. Now my Options application is frozen to that screen whenever I try to access it and I can't "back" out of it, I have to end out. My bluetooth "status" light keeps flashing blue but when I go into the separate Set Up Bluetooth app and use the Menu to Disable Bluetooth, nothing happens.

Anyone know what I screwed up and how I can unscrew it?

    Hi and Thanks!

    Mel

Pull out the battery. Try to delete the bluetooth profile you set up (ie ear piece). Re-pair with whatever device you are trying to pair up with again. See if that works. Keep up posted.
