I have been trying to download podcasts to my media folder, but keep bumping up against the maximum file size, (which I have set to 15MB).

I purchased a 1GB sd card for mass storage...how can I take full advantage of that storage space? - For instance, if I transfer a file to the document folder that I created on the sd card (forgetting the Blackberry desktop manager), do I need to respect that maximum?

    Will the file still play?

You should be able to copy any file size to the memory card, and play it directly. But, on the memory card, you should have the same directory structure, i.e.
    'music'
    'pictures'
    'ringtones'
    'videos'

Yeah, I had the same problem. You really must format your microSD card in the phone. It will elimate storage and maximum file size problems. it will also automaticaly create an identical directory on the card.
