Just checked my memory and it has gone from 18 to 12.6 since this morning. I switched to the 8330 early today and the 8830 was powered off. I have removed everything that I don't use. I noticed that the content store is using 89.4k with 25 items in it. Can anyone help me with this?

If you connect to Desktop Manager and go to the Advanced Backup and Restore page, you will see all the databases in the phone listed on the right hand side. Select the Content Store, then press the Clear button at the bottom. That will reduce the Content Store to its minimum size. It's always greater than 0. Since it's only 0.089 M to start with, that won't help your memory situation.

If you haven't done it yet, perform the Memory Optimization Procedure by Reed McLay. It's available from the BlackBerry Help tab at the top of the website, and here: http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...-memory-34633/
