When I try to use my bluetooth headset for listening to music or video, I cannot seem to get the sound to come out of bluetooth ear piece. Is this possible on my 8830?

I think it is with the latest software update. I have v4.2.2.148 on my bb.

so when you use your bluetooth headset (that you use for phone calls. I have a Verizon jabra) you can listen to media from the mediaplayer?

I think you have to get different units to listen to the music. I have the motorola h500 and I can't listen to music on that one. But the Jabra BT8010 lets you listen to music and make calls.

Yes my friends you do need to have a BT headset that is compatible with stereo profiles. I do believe I saw a work around somewhere, I will se if I can find that.
