Is there a keyboard shortcut from the homepage to change your Profile instead of reassigning it to the convenience key? Also, where is a good place to download free BB themes?

Just hit "F" to change your profile - make sure Dial From Home Screen is off.

Does this work on the 8830? When I hit F, it takes me nowhere.

Yes it works with the 8830. Just make sure you turn off the "dial from homescreen" option. Its under general options from the dialing screen.
