I'm trying to install korean language on my device. What should i download? Would you give me some information about the language package? thanks a lot
I have an 8830 from Verizon and I have the Blackberry Japanese Characters and Font Support (japanese.alx) loaded which we use to view Japanese characters currently.
I loaded the Indosat CJK.alx file as you stated in your post. I have rebooted my 8830, but I don't see any difference. How do you know if it installed correctly so that you can input into Japanese? Does your input language options change?
I have to ask for help, Smalll65 posted on how to add japanese fonts and input, I thought it was pretty straight forward.... Apparently not for me.
could someone please reply to me directly as i am restricted from PM-ing or messaging due to the lack of posts.
I deleted the vendor file. that's done.
Went to the blackberry site, and found IndoSat
clicked on the 8820 model
and there were several apps that i could download. Smalll65 mentioned a version 4.2.2 the other one (or two) had versions 4.5 or other.
When asked how to execute the download, i chose both run and save....
When it was finished downloading, i connected my BB (8830) started up desktop manager, and clicked on application loader. I chose the "add/remove application button"
Some of my apps already on my device were showing, and i clicked on "browse" found the indosat cjk file and clicked it.
it said "no additional applications designed for your device were found"
what the heck am i doing wrong? please help me, as to im moving to japan soon and really need to have this capability on my BB ASAP.
