I do not have a BBmessage, although the IM indicator is ON my main screen. I have no new IM's although it indicates that I do. The indicator will not turn off. Is there any way to get this away?

Try pulling your battery out while the phone is on, leave it out 30 seconds then put it back in... Hope this helps, welcome to CB!
