My 8830 WE does not have an option to put someone on hold. Is something wrong with my blackberry?

You can use the mute button on top of the BB.

Hold isnt an option, but there is "mute" available through the top right key on the top edge .

like what i means is say for instance someone calls while im in the middle of a call i can say hold on let me take this call and put them on hold while i switch lines.

While on the call, I just hit send and it clicks over to the new call, when I finish the call, I hit send again and it goes back to the original call.

Tell them to hold
Press the green button, take that call,
press the green button and you will be back tothe first call, if they have not become tired of this foolishness and hung up.

Thanks I never knew that one. I would just say hold on. and press the green talk button.

Also if you are on the second call and if u hang up and forget to click back to the 1st call the phone will call u and that 1st caller will still be there. As long as they are still waiting.

If anyone puts me on hold to answer another call, I instantly hang up.
That just drives me nuts!
