I have downloaded movies from ZML.com. The first was in MP4 format.
I tried using media manager to put on phone, didn't work. I have tried numerous programs suggested in other threads to convert it to work on 8830. Nothing works so far. I d/l movie again in DIVX and it has an .avi extension. This won't work either. Everything says unsupported format.
Can anyone give me any help or advice.
I have some videos I downloaded and videos I made that are loaded on my media card with the mp4 extension and they all work fine.

Is it that your movie wont move over or it wont play?

It won't play. It says error running sometimes, other times it says unsupported format. I have tried about 20 different ways the last day or so.

You have to use desktop manager and it needs to convert. Will work fine then

Anytime I want to put a video on my phone, I use a converter to change the format to 3GP, and they always play just fine.
