when i am talking to somone on the BB they can bearly hear me but i can hear them fine and ill have full service also. my first phone fell in the snow and it started doing that so i turned it into insurance and they sent me a diffrent one and it still dose the same thing. can any one help me

The reason that I ask is because that would clear up if it is an issue with the internal microphone or if it is software related.

Verizon's tech junkies have no idea how to fix something like that. I know I read some early posts from when the 8830 was fairly new about microphone issues but I think that it was software related. What version OS are you running?

Options > About > 3rd line down it will tell you exactly what OS you are running.

Probably not. The only real bug that I have found in .101 is that the media player won't play in full screen. but since I only use youtube and the picture doesn't change when in full screen it is irrelevant to me. See if you can borrow a BT headset from someone to make a test call. If call quality improves I would condemn hardware.
