I was really hoping my first post here wouldn't be like this. I have a new Alltel 8830 (about 2 weeks), just tonight, the trackball light, and some of the backlighting for some of the center of the keyboard, is flashing. As if it is a somekind of bad connection on whatever bulb that is. Everything else is working fine as far as I know. This is very annoying of course. For instance, when pressing a button to wake it up, everything comes up and that light begins flashing intermitently.

Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions? I really hate to have to go exchange this thing. All data etc loaded as well as an Invisible shield installed.

    thanks in advance,
    steve

try a battery pull - it is an amazing thing - it will solve many quirks!
