Well I am not wanting to wait for the storm to come out because my pearl (8130) is acting up. so i was thinking of buying a Curve until the storm came out. I found a 8830 WE for 250, is this a good price? please give honest answers, I'd appreciate the time

I love the 8830 but I don't know if I would pay $250 for a used one. Unless you need the global roaming capabilities right away I would say go with the curve. It has more on board memory & of course the cam. Just my opinion :-)

I would agree. Memory is limited with the 8830. You should be able to get rid of a curve easier as well when you get the storm.

well I just bought my 8830 for 68 bucks, then the wifey liked it so I got her one for 75. look around on Ebay.

Thanks for ALL the help and good information. I am NOT buying this phone for this price I think I will just spend 300 on a Curve and pass it along to my hubby when the storm comes.

Seemed to be an alright deal, but im already wishing I got the curve.

I managed to get a brand new 8830 for about 120 from verizon so 250 fora used one seems extreme
