ok... this is very simple. i decided to take my phone completely apart. all the way down to the motherboard. and no when i turn it on it says seatching for cdma. the phone worked fine before i took it apart. and it is thru alltel. any help would be nice!
opps....... nevermind! FYI, if you do take your 8830 apart all the way down... and remove the motherboard from the chassis. double check the white wire "AKA antenna wire" and make sure it still fully connected to the mother board! if it is not fully connected then you will get the searching for CDMA error on your phone.
