    I'm trying to determine if I should upgrade my OS from 4.2.2.176 to 4.5.0.51. I have the new OS file, and understand how to upgrade the OS (for the most part) but I am concerned that I will lose my Corporate connections for the BES.

    Any advice on this? I'm anxious to get the louder ring volumes as described in the forum, but don't want to make lose the BES connection.

    Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I dug through the archives with no luck in find this answer for the 8830 on Verizon.

    If you are on BES, you need to ask your IT admin for permission first before upgrading.
