    My convenience key has stopped working completely on my 8830 WE. Any ideas? I have gone through all the settings it just won't work anymore.

    Have you tried doing a battery pull - with the unit ON, pull out the battery for 30-60 seconds.

    You did look at Options (wrench icon), Screen-keyboard and make sure it is still set for whatever you want?
