My wife often misses the initial call. The caller will then leave a voice mail. She is on a BES network. The 8830 does beep and flash the led initially. Is there a way to have it continually do an aural alert until the voice mail has been listened to? Thanks.

There is no default for this. You might have to look for a repeat notification software for BlackBerry, like, this...

I have a BB 8830 and I have it set to phone only. I want a beeping alert for missed voicemails only. Which setting do I change - level 1 msgs - msgr alert - messgr new message?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe any setting other than vibrate and phone only will have the messages beep. I found out yesterday during church services lol.
