    Anyone have a recommendation for a company to buy a SIM card from in Bogota? Maybe one with a data plan w/ blackberry?
    Also, someone told me to be careful buying a SIM card off the street, because of viruses. Any truth to this?

    Colombia operates on GSM freq 850/1900 (same as North America) The 8830 operates off GSM freq 900/1800 only.
