i upgrade my OS on my 8830WE to 4.5.0.138, while using DM 4.2. everything worked find i could sync all apps. well i wanted to try DM 4.5 so i down loaded it from RIM. i installed it and it looked like it installed fine. well when i went to config the sync of app, i went thru the little setup and when i click finish it give me a runtime error. so i tried to reinstall it and it did not help. so then i downloaded DM 4.7 and installed it. installed fine. so when i went to config the sync of the apps, i got thru to the finish and i could finish. i did all 4 apps and when i went to close the config screen the runtime error pops up.
can any one help me with this. is it a windows issue?

DM 4.2 is a very old version of Desktop Manager. If you are using it with correspondingly old copies of Outlook, for example Outlook 2000, then your version of Outlook may be too old to work with DM 4.5 or higher. Check the compatibility guide at RIM's website where you downloaded Desktop Manager.
