    Hello guys:

First post here! Anyway, my phone was stolen the other day. Because I work for an extreme sports company, I have a lot of numbers for professional athletes. These are numbers that really can't be stolen.

Is there anything I can do to erase the data without having the phone in front of me?

There is an app "getitback" that is supposed to be updated soon that will include a remote wipe option.

I know that doesn't help you now, but something to think of in the future. Sorry.

If your phone was connected to a Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES), the adminitrator can remotely wipe and lock your phone. If that phone has GPS he can also get its location.

This is on the 8830 thread so I just want to confirm that a BES administrator can do this with a verizon device.
