I have a Bell Mobility (Canada) 8830. I am going to Los Angeles for two months. It would be nice if I could take my Bell Sim Card out, buy a Sprint Sim Card (both are CDMA) and be able to use my Blackberry with a local LA number so I don;t get charged long distance and roaming.

Anybody know IF this can be done?

If so, HOW can it be done?

Thanks, sure appreciate help cuz right now Bell offers a US package that I will run out of in less than a week of use in LA.
