- Hello fellow forum users. Here is my issue.
I have a user in my office (carrier: Verizon) that I am trying to set up on my BES server. In our setup we have to add a account BEH (I am not sure who created this account) under the user's properties in AD and select the option to send as.
However since this users in an administrator - AD deletes this account as you cannot change administrators rights in AD. So I can receive mail but not send from our domain. Is there a fix / work around for this?
I had the same issue but what I did was create two separate accounts: 1 where I was an administrator and 1 where I was just a domain user. The email address was created under my domain user account and my admin account is what I use to log on.
If I did this for this user he would lose 2+ years of email. Any help (not using the Microsoft forums) would be greatly appreciated.03-04-08 11:57 AMLike 0 - You need to read this Microsoft KB Article:
